Dr. Jonathan M. Mayer, B.SC, DDS

Dr. Mayer was born and raised in Toronto, the youngest of four children. After high school, he studied at Queen’s University at Kingston, graduating as a medalist with a Bachelor of Science, Honours (first class). His dental studies were at the University of Toronto, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1991.

Dr. Mayer has practiced general family dentistry in Toronto, Kingston, and, since 2004, in Ottawa at Riverbank Dental—where until January 2014 he was the Principal Dentist.

Dr. Mayer is married to Catherine and has two teenaged sons. He has been very active in the local and provincial dental associations, as well as being involved with Scouts Canada as a volunteer for over 12 years. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, travel, and cottaging.
